I'm back in school again after the summer break, but this time in gymnasium. The start has been great and I really like my new class.
I've done a dozen other things too during the last months, so I'll post pics of it instead of writing a lot. Today have I started to write all posts I ever have said that I'm gonna write, including Berlin. It takes time, but I hope it will be worth it. On Monday am I heading off again. This time to a training camp with my horse, I will be gone for a couple of days. I'm brining my computer with me tho, but I'm not sure how good the Internet connection will be. During the time I'm gone are the posts I wrote about above going to be posted. The weather in Sweden is chocking me. We have had 26-33C the last week, and we are going to have good weather next week too. It was a really long time ago since we had it this warm here.
Now is it time for me to take a break from the writing and go out for a walk. The wonderful weather in Sweden continues and it has been around 30°C the past few days, so me and my family, besides my brother, decide to go out for a long boat trip together. We started our journey on Tuesdays afternoon, so we drove for 2h from Alnö to an old fishing village called Bönhamn. We arrived quite late, 22:30, so we ate some cheese and after that did I got on the land and started to look around there. I found a walking path that I went. The nature was lovely and almost the entire route was just above the sea which made it even more fantastic. On the morning the next day took we off to a new destination - Ulvön. It's an island 30 minutes away from Bönhamn. A really beautiful place with a pretty large harbor and a super cute small village. Höga Kusten, where these places are located, are "unique" in Sweden because it reminds of the Norwegian fjords - high mountains and deep seas.
I love Ulvön because of their walking paths and pizza restaurant. They have also a pool just behind the sea and some small stores you can look around in. I did spend half of the day sunbathing and enjoyning the good weather. We had around 28C which is hot for Sweden, and especially Sundsvall. I'm home from Kemer now - a post about it will come as soon as I've the photos on my computer.
So today have I been working the whole day! I started at 9am, with helping my mum cut our Chinese crested dog. He is super easy to cut so it went fast. After that was it time for breakfast and then starting the real work, which was to fix the "rebates" to my cottage. Everybody in my family was involved and we were first digging around it, then putting plates around - which were hand cutted to get the perfect match, then putting some kind of plastic thing under it, and then filling gravel on one side of the plate and soil on the other side. This took us several hours to do! We started at 10am and were finished 6pm. Now is it only the bed and some details inside of the cottage to finish before I can move in. I woke up around 10am with an extreme headache. Ate breakfast and then went to the summer pasture to take Danne back home to the stable. There did Lina rode him - to help us move forward. It's just some details I gotta learn and then will things clear out between us. After that have I literally been sleeping. I do feel a bit better now but will just watch tv the rest of the day. Mum and I have just booked a trip to Kemer, Turkey. We leave next week, 7/7. I'm super excited because I have never been to Turkey before, so right now am I doing research about the area.
We didn't choose Analaya/ Antalaya because it seemed to be a bit too noisy (party) and not as clean, and Side are more for younger family's with kids, which we wanna stay away from. Since my last post have I moved, to Lund, Skåne. I've been here for over 2 weeks, but now am I going away on a 3 weeks language trip to Jersey, England.
During the time will only Lova write here. Have a nice day. I know that the update here has been bad, since the start, but we are gonna change that now when we have summer vacation and more time for the blog. But the upcoming weeks am I going to be the only one who updates because Emelie is going away for 3 weeks.
So yeah, what have I done today? Not much actually. I went to the stable to take a ride on Danne and fix some things there because we are gonna participate in an jump competition tomorrow. I've also been sleeping a lot today because I fell off him at our training on Tuesday and still have headache since then. I made my own scones as a brunch and have been watching "Supernatural" to whole afternoon. So that pretty much sums up my day. See ya. That's right. So the last schoolday has passed and graduation is left.
The things we have done the last week: * We met our old American friend Olivia and had a sleepover with her, in Matfors where she lives. Matfors is a really special place with a lot of weird memories so it was fun to be there all 3 together for the last time before Emelie moves. * Many fikas. Yeah it's our thing. Emelie is a professional fikare. * Went to the cinema. * Many night skype talks (although, we are still gonna have them afterwards too) with odd people. * Long walks in the city, and at the beaches. It's nice to take a walk and just talk! * Pizzapicnick.. and fun with kubb and other games. *Sleepover with our class. It was super boring actually and nothing we want to do again. * A boat trip (there Lova drove and destroyed the motor) with picknick on it. This is another fun story that we might write about some day. * A trip to the mall there we was for hours and then walked home to Lova which took us about 50 minutes, but it was nice weather so it wasn't too bad. * Overcame one of our fears. * Went to prom And a lot more that I can't remember at the moment. In IESS. It's a bit sad but I am more than ready to move on to gymnasium after being here for 4 years. This school has helped me so much, not just in improving my English (which I didn't understood when I came) but in every other subject too.
The last lesson was actually Spanish, but I ran away from it when I saw that they were gonna practice some type of dance for prom tomorrow, and gladly no one saw me. The previous lessons were Swedish, textiles and math. I'm going to miss the Swedish, English and social science lessons because my fav teachers had them. Tomorrow is it prom, and I am ready for it! I bought a prom dress like 3 months ago in Berlin, changed it last week because I want to have it at Studenten (a Swedish tradition in a couple of years when you're done with gymnasium) instead. So last week did I found another dress that I was gonna wear, but today when I had it on it didn't felt right so I and mum went off to buy a new dress today. We actually found one and I'm pretty happy with it! It's all black, and of course some colour would have been fun, but I couldn't find it in another colour and that was the model I wanted to have. When I was looking for dresses did I bumped into Emelie & Olivia. They gave me birthday presents so that was super fun! After the shopping drove mamma me home and I finished 2 science upgrade assessments. Now am I gonna make some tea and watch one episode of "Lie to me". Have a nice day/ night. |
